About HoopGram
Our Promise to You
The north star, seven creeds, the judging criteria, and the redlines we hold.
North star
HoopGram exists so that your digital life truly belongs to you.
You should not be trapped in any server you cannot leave, including ours; your world and your identity should remain yours to define.
We want you to find a home of your own on the internet: a machine that belongs to you and an AI that lives there and accompanies you over time.
When sovereignty, simplicity, and our operational convenience conflict, we protect your sovereignty first, pursue simplicity second, and place our pipeline last.
Seven convictions
- You should not lose autonomy in the digital world because you do not understand servers, networks, or AI.
- You should possess your own AI, data, identity, machine, network entry, and memory, together with rights to choose, migrate, back up, copy, and leave.
- Your digital capabilities should not depend on any platform, including HoopGram; models, clouds, clients, and AI providers may change while your identity, data, memory, and configuration continue.
- We do not build products you cannot leave; we seek to reduce your dependence on every company: you → your own Hoop → the world.
- We do not want to own you; we help you own yourself.
- Freedom to exit is among the most important freedoms; when you no longer need us, we should let you take everything that is yours.
- Technology should give people more freedom; when interests conflict, HoopGram should stand with the person.
How we judge whether something has been returned
If any test is missing, we call it partial sovereignty and tell you the gap, destination, and next step rather than presenting aspiration as completion.
- Source: its source of truth is on your machine.
- Migrate: it is in the export and can be reborn on another machine.
- Audit: you can see who changed it.
- Unplug: it remains after any one company is removed.
Red lines we promise to hold
- Your AI and automation do not receive identity roots, secrets, password vaults, complete export authority, or unlimited money authority by default, and cannot enlarge their own identity or permissions.
- High-risk operations require clear, bounded, revocable gates; a privileged interface accepting arbitrary commands, paths, or URLs is not an acceptable security boundary.
- Our company systems do not read data in your Hoop; company accounts retain only the minimum relationship information needed to provide service, and the company site does not become your identity root or data path.
- Recovery material and critical keys should be separated by responsibility; when you bring a domain, you control it, a HoopGram-provided name must be removable, and the destination for physical home hardware should include encryption.
- We never make money from advertising, attention, or your data; revenue comes from services, machines, and resources you knowingly purchase.
- We do not build infinite feeds, public counters, rankings, social pressure, or hidden cancellation; exit should be as clear and short as entry.
- People are people and AI is AI; AI involvement in editing, translation, or introductions should be labeled and must not impersonate you.
- We measure service health only in sovereignty-compatible ways, place no behavioral tracking inside your Hoop, and do not read conversations to build a growth funnel.
