Protocol Entry: Return the Rules to the Public
What Hoop Protocol is, what it isn't, and what stage it's at now.
Hoop Protocol is a public specification for how a person's digital world is owned, represented, operated, connected, authorized, migrated, recovered, and exited.
Hoop OS is one implementation maintained by HoopGram; HoopGram is a company; neither is the protocol itself.
Anyone should be able to implement a Hoop from public specifications alone, validate it with public schemas and vectors, and connect to compatible peers after authorization.
The protocol does not require dependence on one account, cloud, model, domain, programming language, operating system, or permanently available company.
The current hoop/0.1 phase-one proposal provides documents, schemas, synthetic vectors, and fixture conformance; a real owner identity root, independent interoperability, and production conformance remain for later implementation and proof.
Entering the protocol should not mean entering another wall, but making the rules readable, implementable, challengeable, improvable, and inheritable.
